Many companies waste valuable time setting up a website
based on generic templates just to "get their feet wet" but
while this may sound like a good idea, your customers are not likely to
be impressed. If your site looks unprofessional, so do you. Your homepage
should be a valuable member of your team; a sales tool, a training tool
or a customer service tool.
Dynamanx specialise in producing web sites that
will make a splash without costing you a fortune. Our own criteria for
successful web design is based on three concepts, that of credibility,
usability and utility.
Credibility
refers to how users perceive your organisation or product once they visit
your site. A website's credibility increases when it shows the people
behind the site or the product on offer. Users who encounter design mistakes
on sites (for example dead links to missing pages, rarely updated content,
links to sites that are unprofessional or advertising that is indistinguishable
from content) are less likely to take these designs seriously. Your site
should also be immediately recognisable for people who are familiar with
your published marketing literature and branding, using the same logos
and corporate colour schemes.
Usability is
an indicator of quality that measures how easy user interfaces are to
use, and it has five markers:
- Ease if learning: it must be easy for users to accomplish basic tasks
they first time they visit your site.
- Efficiency: after familiarising themselves with the design they should
be able to perform tasks quickly.
- Satisfaction: users should have a pleasant experience using the design.
- Easily memorable: users should be able to become proficient again
the next time they visit.
- Errors: users should not be subjected to severe errors while using
your site and should be able to recover from errors easily.
Utility refers
to the design's functionality; the interface used in the web design should
allow users to do what they need to. It is of little importance that a
site is usable if it doesn't do what your users require.

We plan
We analyse your market sector, business, clients and competition. We identify
other winning designs that share your ideals and goals and see if we can
adapt or emulate them. We brainstorm ideas, devise new approaches, integrate
recommendations from different disciplines and produce a mock-up of your
web site that makes an impact. We believe in starting with a striking
concept that grabs attention and works.

We design
We start off with a singular vision and two disciplines. A lead designer
and content manager are assigned to your project, they work together throughout
to make sure your message gets delivered and makes an impact.

We develop
We make sure creativity and technology come together at this stage, where
the early cross-discipline planning pays off. The extensive technical
experience of our team members and partners ensures dynamic, accurate
development, allowing you to stay ahead of your competition.

We launch
We test and double-test everything we have created prior to deployment,
because we understand that launching a site is more than just pressing
the go button. We ensure the web site meets our standards and yours, and
that you have the training, information and help required to keep the
project going strong.
